Ivyfield

Ivyfield is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star.  The system lies in the Cetus Constellation of the Cetus Region.

Ivyfield’s primary planet is a world with a thick atmosphere. The planet’s lower elevations are deluged in deep swamps and marshes, in these areas the atmosphere is too thick and intolerable for long-term human habitation. A striking supply of life though does exist in these regions though, vast nature reserves have been established across the swamps.

As the planet transitions into the highland regions in the higher elevation, the atmosphere starts to thin while the climate becomes more arid, this creates savannas and even a few deserts. The majority of the population live in these areas.
